Our Critters
Being Southern at heart with family in and from the South, my husband and I decided to relocate from Northern IL to TN in 2003. Since I wanted a hobby farm, we purchased about 10 acres of land with our home. I had previously raised full size goats and two of the girls, Molly and Mini, were very special to me. Unfortunately, they left this world far too soon. I still think of them often. I have always adored the miniature breeds of animals so I brought home two Nigerian Dwarf goat girls and named them Molly and Mini in honor of my previous two goat girls. It is because of the new girls that I decided to name the farm, Too Mini Acres.
Next to join the herd were my two miniature horses. I realized that they all needed some protection at night so that is when we adopted two Great Pyrenees Mountain puppies. Let me just express to you how necessary it is to have Pyrs protect your animals. These dogs are just wonderful. In fact, they are so amazing that we now have 4! When not getting love, they are busy protecting all the additions to the family including the cows, chickens, and many new goats. The farm just keeps growing and our Pyrs always welcome the newest members and give them extra protection while they adjust to their new home the first few nights.
I am excited to say that we will be selling three different breeds of miniature goats! We will occasionally have Nigerian Dwarf Goats for sale along with Mini-Nubians for sale and Petite size Nubian goats for sale. We will post updates and of course many pictures on this website for you. Please know that all of our animal friends receive excellent care.
